    I wonder what 'the gross inflation of salaries' means.
    Salaries before tax have increased?

    They are being paid FAR too much for what they do by the ordinary man's standards.

    For instance, for an entertainer for be paid $2,000,000 for a single performance when in the previous year the same performer received $500,000 for a similar performance is a gross inflation of salary.
