Is it better to use RISK or RISKS in the following situation:
expose every investor to the RISK(S) of privacy invasion.
In this context, I prefer "risk".
If you were talking about one kind of risk – the risk of privacy invasion – singular noun would be appropriate.
It all depends on the context of where this is used. For example if the context only refers to one potential hazardous result then there is one risk. However an invasion of privacy can create several different problems, so if the context refers to this then you would use risks.
As you can see, both are possible.
