    discrete

    Hi,

    could you please tell me what "discrete" means in the following sentence:

    As projects increase in frequency and complexity but shrink in discrete size, the personnel is able to respond thanks to the unique characteristics of the system.

    discrete = • adjective individually separate and distinct.

    The individual projects become more complex and they occur more frequently, but individually they become smaller in themselves.
