    4 o'clock for direction/position

How do you determine a position if a person says:
    Enemy, 4 o'clock!

What does it mean? Where is the enemy?

    Thanx a lot!

Picture the face of a clock. You are in the center, and the enemy is located in the direction of the numeral four.

    I'm not sure I understand.
Am I "facing" 12? If so, then the enemy would be on my right. Right?
