    Worrying Look or Worried Look?

    Dear all,

I need help with this sentence! Can we write "She had a worrying look on her face" or is it "she had a worried look on her face."

    regards,
    Ali

Re: Worrying Look or Worried Look?

It depends; if she was worried, she would have a 'worried look'. However, if her expression made other people worried, then it would be the former. 'Worried look' is more common, so without more context, I would imagine that is the expression you're looking for.
