    Do/Did

    I. “I just finished reading a new novel.”
    “Do you like it?”
The answer is right? Or I should change “do” into “did”?

II. “Have you had your lunch?”
    “Yes, I did”
The answer is right? Or I must say “yes, I have”?

    Pls.

    1. Change to 'did'.

    2. In UK English you would say 'have'.

    Re: Do/Did

    "what are you doing?"
    "I'm reading a novel."
    "do you like it?"

    In this case, I can use"do", right?Pls.

    Smile Re: Do/Did

    I. i think there are no corrections at all!

II. instead of yes i did you will change it to "yes, i have" because
    e.g
    HAVE you eaten your lunch?
    yes, I HAVE or no, I HAVEN'T

DID you do your homework last night?
    yes, I DID or no, I DIDN'T

    did you get it??
