    more often = more frequently; something that happens repeatedly during a period of time;

    typical = something is typical when it characterizes very well a group of people or objects.

    ex.:
    the Amazon forest is a typical tropical rain forest

    "typical forms" must refer to something mentioned previously - such as the way in which women hide their mouths (when laughing) as a form of modesty or embarrassment.
