Anybody heard of the expression: Sex classes 101 ?

Hi! I just came across an expression where one person described his relationship with another. He wrote that the had: "sex classes 101" .

Does anybody know what this means?

    Please explain.
    Thank you.

In Canada anyway, an entry level university course usually has a "101" number associated with it.

Chemistry 101, Physics 101, History 101....they are basic courses

So this person is laughingly describing his sex life this way. He has not progressed to graduate studies yet.
