    Connecting mail clauses

This questions is around the usage of main clauses.
When we join two main clauses using semicolon (;), is it always neccessary to use the connectives to join them, or this can be done even without connectives ?

    Regards

    Re: Connecting mail clauses

The semi-colon is often used instead of a comma + conjunction, so you will frequently find it without a connective.
