What do you mean by bottom dollar?
Piracy may be a crime, and it may cripple the music and entertainment industries, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the music, the game and the movie industries will not have the direct loss.

Visualize a man who is sitting at a poker table with a pile of cash stacked neatly in front of him. As the man makes his bets, he will usually start at the top of the stack and will systematically go through his money until he gets to the total amount that he wants to bet. If he is dealt an unbeatable hand of cards, he will bet his 'bottom dollar' and everything that lies above it.
In your example, the idiom: 'you can bet your bottom dollar' , means that you can be extremely confident that the music, the game and the movie industries will not have the direct loss as a result of piracy.
You can 'bet your bottom dollar' that if you post a question in this forum it will be answered in a timely manner!
Do you have other examples of using bottom dollar? How about the most common?
