    Does this sentence require commas? Which tense?

    Seizure control is excellent, even though his valproic acid level is low. This is noticed on a consistent basis.


    or should it be This was noticed on a consistent basis.

    How can I reply back to you guys and thank you for helping me?

    Both are fine, Erin, in certain circumstances. You're not giving us enough information to make a decision. Language choice depends on the context.
