    Which choise is correct in this sentence:

    #1: I'm quite sure that this business will ...
    a. pay off b. paid c. pay

    #2: ...., America denpends on Afica for 40% of its oil imported.
    a. interest b. interesting c. interested d. interestingly

    For #1, depending on the meaning intended, a. or c. will work, Chuhuytam.

    For #2, d is the only one that works.

    We do rather hope that the questioners will do some of their own work. It is better for their learning curve.

    When I started to reply, there were no answers, Anglika. I got busy and it took a while before I put my reply in. Had I seen what you wrote, I wouldn't have bothered to add any comments.

    However, making a guess from three choices won't really help anyone. If a student describes why they made that choice, then it could be of some help.

    Why would you have even bothered to post what you did, re: the student answering for him/herself when David L had answered the question some three hours earlier?
