    hot afternoon

    Is the following sentnce ok ??

    Korea and Japan have a hot afternoon and it makes people hard to work. or

    In korea and Japan, the afternon is very hot, which makes it hard for people to concentrate on their work .

    The second example is fine. The first doesn't make complete sense.
