    abuse, pay big credits

    Hello everyone.
I'd like to ask about the meaning of 'abuse' and 'pay big credits'.

    The context is as follows:
A reporter named Annabella Wu came to Atlanta to make a story about life there. She asked the mayor the permission to follow him for one day in order to see and record on cam how he works. First she was in his office. Then the mayor said that he was going to visit some places. The mayor, his aides, his bodyguards and the reporter approached the truck. Further, the author writes as follows:

The driver, a large-nosed older man, said, "Back for more abuse, Ms. Wu?"
Annabella smiled. That's why they pay me big creds, Mike."
Terise shot Annabella a stunned look. That gave Annabella a certain self-satisfaction. Yes, the Blue bint can remember the name of the hired help.

Does the phrase "Back for more abuse, Ms. Wu" mean that Annabella is going to abuse or does it mean that is going being abused.

And does the phrase "they pay me big creds" mean "they pay me big money?"

    Re: abuse, pay big credits

It is pretty clear that they were not talking about real abuse. It was banter. And yes, "big creds" is big money.
