    concerned

    Hello everyone
I'd like to ask about the meaning of "concerned" in the following context.

Liebniz asked the soldier, "Captain, those kids?"
"I detailed a couple of soldiers to bring them in, but they were gone. Left their bocce behind and everything."
"They weren't using a ball," Annabella said.
"Yeah, it was a beanbag of some kind," the captain said quickly. "The point is they obviously found shelter on their own. I'm sure they're fine." The captain didn't sound all that concerned.

I looked 'concerned' up in the dictionary and it says as follows:

–adjective 1.interested or affected: concerned citizens. 2.troubled or anxious: a concerned look. 3.having a connection or involvement; participating: They arrested all those concerned in the kidnapping.
    [Origin: 1650–60; concern + -ed2]

But I'm not sure with which meaning "concerned" is used in the captain's speech -- the first meaning or the second one?

It's the first one here, he didn't sound worried.
