Red face the date that someone passed away

We call someone's date of birth as "Birthday".

How should we call the date that someone passed away?

    Many thanks.

    Hi Ju
    What should we call...
well, it is definitely not "death day"
Some ways I have heard this phrased:
The anniversary (if it is any year following the year he died) of his death
The day he died/passed away etc...
    The day of his death

    Hi Fiona,

Then for the first year after someone passed away. Should I say "this is the fiist anniversary of his/her death"?

    Yes, and so on...
This is the second/third/fourth anniversary of his death.
