    I wonder if there is any difference between "1" and "2"
    1. It's time to go to bed.
    2. It's time you went to bed.

    The obvious difference is that 2. refers to "you", while 1. can refer to oneself or to (oneself and) others.
    Do you want to change one or both sentences and ask again?
