A lot of people speak English but there is considerable difference between the accents used by them. Where and how can I learn an accent widely used and understood everywhere in the world. Or is that a nightmare? When people coming from different linguistic areas engage in conversation do they have considerable difficulty in understanding each other? Here in our country we often do not concentrate much on that part of the affair with the result that our mother tongues exert considerable influence on the way we speak English.
