Smile This camera will cost at least ten thousand dollars.

This camera will cost at least ten thousand dollars.
This camera will cost not less than ten thousand dollars.
This camera will cost no less than ten thousand dollars.

Do all of the above convey exactly the same idea to you? Thanks.

    Angli,

I don't think that they all convey the exact same idea.

    1) This camera will cost at least ten thousand dollars.
    > I don't know the price, vague, could even be fifteen thousand dollars.

    2) This camera will cost not less than ten thousand dollars.
    > But it is not unlikely that you'll find it for about ten thousand.

    3) This camera will cost no less than ten thousand dollars.
    > But you can buy it for ten thousand (not a penny less, though).

It would be difficult to distinguish between 2 and 3, although I would rather use 3 than 2.

    Regards,

    Thomas
