    a job title (vocabulary question)?

In my country there is a position in companies called "export responsible".
does this statement make sense? is this right?
Can a person who works in the export department and who is responsible for export sales, correspondence, customers visiting etc. be named as "export responsible"?

    Thank you in advance.
