Good vs Well... Is good an adverb too? How is it used to differentiate between Good and Well? Which is correct: You are doing very good/well?

Good is only an adjective. You can be a good runner, but you cannot run good.
You can, however run well.
You may have had a good meal, but you didn't eat good - you ate well.
An exception is that you can do good, but only in the sense of being charitable or looking out for other people's welfare: hence the name "do-gooder".
