    Smile say in other words

Could you peraphrase the following sentence for me to get the meaning:

"What I need to do is to put my mind in the right frame of mind so I can sort the problem out."

    Re: say in other words

The sentence as it stands is wrong. A possible correction:

What I need to do is get myself in [or: into] the right frame of mind so I can sort the problem out.

You're in the wrong frame of mind if you worried and upset and thinking about something else, you're not concentrating, your tired, bored, angry, etc. You've got to clear your mind and get to work.

It's not an expression you'll hear every day, but you do need to know it.

    hope this helps
