    How to express numbers (years)

Hello, I was taught to express dates in this way.....

    6th century - the 6th century
    the 1900 - nineteen hundred
    1949 - nineteen hundred and forty-nine / nineteen forty-nine

...however i was kind of wondering how can I express years 2100 and after...

will it be two thousand one hundred? I've been looking around for some definite ways but unfortunately, i haven't found a single article to confirm this. Help? Thanks!
