    "you have to make it count" means that you have to be sure that it is noticed or done properly. It is a sports idiom when making a goal would increase the score (count).

    "sorry sight" means that you are disappointed or unhappy with someone or group because of their appearance or action. Example: The team lost by 3 goals, they were a sorry sight.

    "i quote up with him" sorry I don't know this one.

    Also, "i quote up with him" makes no sense to me. Where did you see it written? What was the context?
