    2 questions

    hi i got 2 questions, first i would like to know how to use finish or end , and second when u use already u use present or past, example: i already ate or i already eat, tahnk u so much

    i ate already.
    or
    i already ate.


    usually we say "somebody finished something"
    or "something ended", e.g.:

    I finished the work yesterday.

    or

    This semester will end next week.

    I ate the cake.
    I ate lunch at that new restaurant.
    But with 'already':
    I have already eaten the cake.
    I've already eaten (dinner/lunch)
