    Post Question about verbs

Just need a little help here. First: I'm confused about an infinitive. I know that infinitives begin with "to" and is then followed by a base form of a verb, like "to eat" or "to go." They can also be used as an adverb, adjective, and a noun, but how?

If I am correct, a participle has 5 forms: past participle, past simple, present, present simple, future. I'm confused about all of them. A little clarification would be most helpful. Thanks in advance!
