    Listen and practice.

Get recorded material and listen to it over and over till you can understand it easily. Watch films, listen to broadcasts. With DVDs, watch them over and over until you can understand what's said.

Read aloud to yourself - record yourself and see how it sounds when you play it back.

Find and join a group (preferably with at least one native English speaker) and talk to each other.

    Is it practice or practise?

Depends on whether you read it as AmE or BrE!

In the US, practice is the variant spelling of the verb "to practise".
