    Is the following sentence okay?

    "The following is my achievements.
    -the champion of singing contest
    -came first in debating contest
    ......"

    The following are my achievements:

    --Awarded the champion of singing contest.

    --Stood first in a debating contest.

    OR "Received first prize in a debating contest".
