    Question about some sentences

    Dear Teachers,

I have seen Dr Smith in the Department of English in Asian UniversityDid I use the perp. right?

The position can greatly enrich my experience on this work and(it can) help my future career Is "it can" necessary, or it can be omitted?

I work with other people. Is it necessary to add "the" before "other"?

I have taken the tutorials last year. Is it better to use had rather than have?

I did experiments in laboratories within Asian University. Can I use "within" in this case or "in" will be better?

I can study {something} in very detail and profundity. Does this sentence make sense?

"...in the Department of English at Asian ..."

The position can greatly enrich my experience on this work and(it can) help my future career Is "it can" necessary, or it can be omitted? It could be omitted

I work with other people. Is it necessary to add "the" before "other"? No

I have taken the tutorials last year. Is it better to use had rather than have? Why not simply "I took"?

I did experiments in laboratories within Asian University. Can I use "within" in this case or "in" will be better? Is it necessary to specify that they were at the University?

I can study {something} in very detail and profundity. Does this sentence make sense? No. "I can study xxxxx in depth" would say this better.
