    Smile he has no intention of apologizing

    It is obvious that he has no intention of apologizing.
    It is obvious that he doesn't intend to apologize.



    Do both of the above convey a similar idea to you? Thanks.

    At first blush, without plunging deeply into the ole gray cells, I'd say yes, A.
