what about this one?
Nobody felt as sad as like this blue eyed old man about my answer...
What I am trying to say is...
there was an old man who has got blue eyes.. this man got very upset when he heard my answer. There were others who were also upset about it but not as sad as this man.
But you see when you explain like this it's too long... how can I make it short.

thank you very much indeed... The one Anglika wrote is much more understandable to me...
and I don't have any idea about the word ''sadder'' I have never come across with such a use... Nobody felt sadder... I don't know why but it does not sound right...

Hi brend, I was giving another option, as the best had already been suggested. Sadder is the comparative form of sad. It is certainly seldom used. Originally Posted by brend10
