    what is the difference between seem, look and look like. thanks

    seem: to appear (based on evidence of action)
    Ex: She seems to enjoy her job.

    look: to appear based on physical evidence
    Ex: She looks happy.

    look like: to resemble
    Ex: She looks like her mother.
