    Question Mistakes Recognizing

    Dear Teacher,

I was asked to find the incorrect part (among the 4 reply options) in the following sentence, but I couldn't find any at all. Could you kindly help?

"After rising the flag to commemorate the holiday, the mayor gave a long speech".

    a. rising
    b. to commemorate
    c. the holiday
    d. a long speech

Thank you very much in advance for your help.
