Question how to use 'continued' at the bottom of the page

What is the correct format to use the word 'continued' at the bottom of a page to indicate more on next page?

If the writing consists of more than one page, there is no need to say continued; it will make your paper look sophomoric.

You can just insert 'continued...' at the right bottom hand of the page.
