    I donīt wish

Youīve been living in London for a long time. Do you wish you could move to Liverpool?
    - No, I donīt wish I could move to Liverpool, but Iīd love to live in Bath.

Are there restrictions on the use of "I donīt wish" in sentences like this? Does it sound natural?

    Re: I donīt wish

    Try:

No, I donīt wish to move to Liverpool, but Iīd love to live in Bath.

    Also:

No, but I'd like to live in Bath.

In America it would be, "No, I don't want to live there, but I'd love . . .

    Those are both fine grammatically.

They are however unlikely to be commonly used.
