    Question Comma needed?

"Perhaps it is for exactly this reason, that all of them require some additional assumptions."

If this is "it" from the perhaps-clause that is a reason of additional assumptions for "all of them", is the comma necessary (or even permissible) before "that"?

    Thanks,

    Re: Comma needed?

Get rid of the comma (the reason that is a set phrase).
