    Meaning of the phrase

    What does the phrase "have a favour" mean?

    For example:

    I have a favour to ask.

    It means, I have something that I would like you to do for me.

    favor (noun) something done or granted out of goodwill, rather than from justice or for remuneration; a kind act.
