    Re: spiffy

    Hi goingtocalifornia,

    spiffy adj., -ier, -iest.

Smart in appearance or dress; stylish.

spiffy = marked by smartness in dress and manners

    spiffy tr.v., -ied, -ying, -ies.
To make attractive, stylish, or up-to-date: spiffying up my wardrobe.
    [Possibly from dialectal spiff, dandified.]

    Regards.
