    so that

    Could one say:
    1-'So that you may see my face, I'll take off my mask.'
    instead of:
    2-'In order that you may see my face, I'll take off my mask.'

    as far as I know, you can't use 'so that' in the initial position in a sentence but somewhere in the middle.

    You could use this construction, but it would more normally be "So that you can see...."
