    Please correct the following sentence.

    Dear Friends,

    I have a question regarding the following sentence.

    The US politics is facing an era of crisis.

    US politics is facing an era of crisis.

    Please let me know which sentence is correct. Should "US politics" be preceded with "the"?

    The second sentence is correct. No need to use "the".
