Your objection to the first is shared by many, who would prefer to make the whole sentence impersonal: 'Falling in love is a great feeling'. But this mixture of the personal and the impersonal is common - example: 'Walking in the rain is so refreshing.'
The third option is fine, though some people might feel the meaning is slightly different - because the focus is on what some individuals feel, rather than the nature of the feeling.
