    How to call this?

It is called a "topic" when you do the writing, but how about in physics, chemistry and math? What do we call this:
    /5+x/ + /x-3/ =8
( not binominal or sth, the meaning of its resemble to the word" topic")

It's an equation. Each side of the "=" is an expression. The example you give shows a linear equation (the unknowns are all shown to the first power: x; if there was at least one "x", it would be a quadratic equation).

    b

Not, "How to call this?", Belly, but "What to call this?"

With the verbs 'say/pronounce' we use 'How' but with 'call' we use 'What.

How do you say this? --> What do you call this?
