    Unhappy grammar structure

    Dear moderators,
Could you please explain the folllowing grammar structure:
It is also important that all three countries are sending peace support contingencies to operations.
Is it right to say are sending instead of should send
If yes, in that case, does this sentense sound good:
It is important that I am teaching English
    or
It is important that the president is focusing on social issues

    Thanks in advance

    Re: grammar structure

They have different meaning- 'are sending' means that the decisions have been made and the people are either on their way or have a definite plan for departure.
