    characterise

    hi there,
What does it mean by '...the new but older workforce...'? Does 'older' mean senior?

Responsibility, stablity and punctuality are the most often-noted qualities characterise the new but older workforce fournd fast-food establishments.

    Thanks
    pete

Responsibility, stability and punctuality are the most often noted qualities that characterise the new, but older, workforce found in fast food establishments.
    Note the changes.
