    Sound right but a bit not the same.

    Cost
    Cost of living:
    The amount of money you need in order to pay for basic necessities such as food, clothes, shelter, heating and transportation.

    price:
    The amount of money needed to purchase something like rice, petrol etc.
    e.g. Prices keep soaring.

    (Not a teacher)
