    Arrow "educated" as a noun!!

    In the name of the Merciful Allah,
    Hello, hello, hello, please confirm to me; is the following sentence right in English: Although a majority of Muslims, particularly
    intellectuals and the educated do not condone acts of terrorism and violence, these acts have been........? More exactly, isn't "educated" just an adjective? So, how it's mentioned like that_ as a noun? Thanks ahead.

    You can use some past participle forms as nouns - it means 'people who have been educated'.
