    Word gradation?

Hi, I'd like to know how do words related to beauty rank in importance. I know beautiful is better than pretty, is gorgeous better than beautiful? and how about pulcherious (only recently did I hear of it), where does it fit? Could you give me a list of these words in order? Or maybe information as to where i can find such a list. Thank you.

    Re: Word gradation?

Gorgeous is stronger than beautiful and so can't be used with very. Pulchritudinous is an old word now found only in literature and so I would forget it if I were you
