    wool dyed green

    Hello everyone
I'd like to ask about the meaning of the phrase "wool dyed green" in the following sentence:

Her clothes were comfortable if somewhat heavy -- wool dyed green with thick leather pads on the knees and elbows.

Does "wool dyed green" mean that the colour of her clothes was green and they were made of wool?
