how to write a business inquiry?

    hi,

when looking for accommodation, i am used to sending messages with the following style to the landlords:

    dear sir,

i have a few questions about your unit:

is the bathroom a shared or a private one?
is there any internet service available?
are all costs included in your price?
could you please inform the unit zip code?

    thanks a lot,
    joao

i try not to be too short and not excessively wordy as well, but it's hard to find the ideal point.

is the text in bold OK?

    thanks a lot,
    JC

A bit abrupt, but to the point.

nb: "Could you please let me know the the unit's zip code".

    Hi,

Thanks! What should I change in order to make it more friendly but still objective?

    Thanks again,
    JC
