    Literature assistance

Hi there, I have been misfortunate enough to have lost my notes from a particular lesson, and need them for an essay. I would be grateful if someone were to help me on a couple of points.

    1. My teacher referred to a particular name for a novel which contains a moral; what might this name be?

    2. What is it called to use certain verbs throughout a passage to set a desired theme (e.g. using silence, stillness, coffin etc to set a theme for death)?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    You are unfortunate.
    1. There are so many novels that could fit your description that providing an answer is not possible without more information.
    2. Apart from the fact that silence, stillness and coffin are nouns not verbs there does not appear to be any set term.

    Welcome to the forums.

I think the question is "What is the word for a novel/story with a moral?" Fable

Possibly "repetition" is what you want for #2

Take more care of your notes in future!
